MILTON KEYNES, UK – Rockwell Automation (NYSE: ROK) will supply fully integrated safety solutions for four new Transocean drillships.
The company will provide its PlantPAx integrated control power and safety solution with its AADvance process safety system. There are further options for similar services for six more ships.
The contract follows a $6-million order fromDSME to Rockwell in 2011 for equipment on four new offshore drillships.
