    Intertek to audit Ichthys FPSO turret fabrication, integration

    Intertek Surveying Services has won a contract to provide assurance and verification of fabrication and integration of the FPSO turret for the Ichthys LNG project offshore northwestern Australia.

    PERTH, Australia – Intertek Surveying Services has won a contract to provide assurance and verification of fabrication and integration of the FPSO turret for the Ichthys LNG project offshore northwestern Australia.

    Intertek will support operator Inpex with audits during the fabrication and integration of the turret to ensure first-time fit.

    The turret is to befabricated in Singapore and integrated to the hull in South Korea. The project is expected to start soon.
