TRONDHEIM, Norway – Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has signed a data licensing agreement valued at $6.4 million.
The company will provide 3D controlled-source electromagnetic and magnetotelluric data from its multi-client data library over the Norwegian Sea.
EMGS has almost $15 million of multi-client sales from itsbasalt mapping program in the west of Shetland area and over production licenses 598 and 527 in the Norwegian Sea.
In addition, the company has initial pre-funding for the first phase of its 2013 Barents Sea multi-client survey program, covering about 3,000 sq km (1,158 sq mi) of 3D EM data over the western Bjarmeland platform and Fingerdjupet sub-basin.
On completion the 3D EM multi-client data will cover around 27,000 sq km (10,425 sq mi). TheAtlantic Guardian is expected to complete Phase 1 of the 2013 Barents Sea multi-client survey by the end of June.
