MMT to continue North Sea pipeline inspections for DONG

VASTRA FROLUNDA, Sweden – DONG Energy has extended MMT's contract to inspect North Sea pipelines to 2014, with an option to prolong the arrangement further through 2015-2017.

The acoustic and ROV survey scope will be performed using the survey vessel Franklin. It will be equipped with a hull-mounted EM710 multi-beam echo sounder and an ROV and an ROTV.

MMT's ROTV will provide high-resolution Edgetech 4200 (300/600 kHz) side scan sonar.

A Sub Atlantic Comanche ROV equipped with a MBES system and high-resolution digital color camera will conduct the inspection survey.
