ZURICH, Switzerland –Statoil (OSE:STL; NYSE:STO) has signed a frame agreement with MAN Diesel & Turbo for the supply of turbomachinery equipment and services for five years with extension options.
Statoil and MAN have pursued jointly a subsea compressor qualification program starting in 2005, and Aker Solutions awarded MAN a contract to build the world’s firstsubsea compressors for gas production at the Asgard project.
