Offshore staff
HONG KONG –CNOOC Ltd. has successfully started production at the Yacheng 13-4 gas field in the South China Sea. The facility is expected to reach peak production of 350 MMcm/yr (12.36 bcf/yr) in 2013.
The project is designed to share existing facilities at Yacheng 13-1 and will have three development wells.
Yacheng 13-4 is 72 km southwest of Sanya, Hainan Province in the northern part of the South China Sea.
