First development well producing at Bacchus in North Sea

Endeavour International Corp. (NYSE: END; LSE: ENDV) has started production from the first development well on the Bacchus field in the UK central North Sea.

HOUSTON – Endeavour International Corp. (NYSE: END; LSE: ENDV) has started production from the first development well on the Bacchus field located in block 22/06a in the UK central North Sea.

Initial production rates over the first five days were approximately 6,000 gross b/d.Endeavour has a 30% interest in Bacchus which is operated by Apache Corp. The second development well commenced drilling on April 20. Production is expected to start in 3Q 2012.

The field development plan was approved by the Department of Energy and Climate Change in June 2010.
