Dolphin contracts second newbuild seismic vessel from Sanco

ULSTEINVIK, Norway – Sanco Shipping AS has exercised an option for a second seismic vessel to be built by Kleven Maritime at the Myklebust Verft yard in Norway.

The Sanco Sword , scheduled for delivery in 1Q 2014, is an STY 324 CD design from Skipsteknisk AS and sister vessel to the Sanco Swift scheduled for delivery in July 2013.

At the same time, Dolphin Group ASA (OSE:DOLP) has signed an option for a long-term charter of the Sword for five years with three options to extend the charter for two years per option.

Dolphin also has chartered the Swift.
