CALGARY, Canada – The FPSOBW Athena has arrived at the location of the Athena field in the UK central North Sea.
According to development operator Ithaca Energy, the vessel has been connected to the STP mooring buoy. Hook-up and infield commissioning activities are in progress.
Elsewhere in the sector, Ithaca’s scheduled appraisal well on the Hurricane prospect has been delayed until nearly mid-year.
This is due to the contracted rig fulfilling commitments on other drilling programs.
