TGS begins 3D multi-client seismic survey offshore Australia

PERTH, Australia – TGS has begun acquisition of a 3D multi-client survey offshore Australia in the Outer Exmouth Plateau area. The survey, named Gnaraloo, will cover 2,093 sq km (808 sq mi) in parts of WA-347-P, WA-348-P, and open acreage north of the Mary Rose Northeast survey.

The M/V Geo Atlantic is conducting the survey and completion is scheduled for 2Q 2012 with final data available in 4Q 2012.
