Technip to do subsea tieback offshore Western Australia for Woodside

PARIS – Woodside Energy Ltd. (WPL:AU/WOPEY:US) has contracted Technip to install a pipeline for the Greater Western Flank Phase 1 130 km (81 mi) northwest of Karratha, Western Australia.

The subsea tieback will link the Goodwyn GH and Tidepole fields to the Goodwyn A platform.

The contract includes load out, transportation, and installation of 16 km (10 mi) of 16-in gas flowline from the Tidepole manifold to the Goodwyn A platform.

Technip’s operating center in Perth, Australia will execute the contract, with the support from the Singapore office. Offshore installation will be carried out by the Global 1200 or the Global 1201.
