HOUSTON - sendit, llc has introduced a new solution for mitigating preparatory and remedial work for pipelines being installed on uneven seabed based on proprietary procedures developed by the company.

The procedures are based on cold bending the pipeline at the seabed as it is being installed when additional length can be created.

The solutions include crossing escarpments, shore approaches, ridges, gullies and contingencies for mudslides by including bending restrictor sleeves in the pipeline make up.

Tor Persson, president of sendit, clarifies that the use of this solution alleviates the requirement for dredging at escarpments and shore approaches however rocky and building of free span supports.
