CALGARY, Canada – The Israel Petroleum Commissioner’s Office has granted GeoGlobal Resources an extension for a planned drilling program in two offshore licenses.

The previous deadline for presenting plans for the Myra and Sara concessions has been extended from Aug. 1, 2011, to July 13, 2012.

This year, GeoGlobal expects to complete acquisition, processing, and interpretation of 43 sq km (16.6 sq mi) of 3D seismic data in the Samuel license and to complete processing and interpretation of 1,360 sq km (525 sq mi) of 3D seismic data over Myra and Sara.
