EMGS to survey offshore Ghana

TRONDHEIM, Norway– Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA has won a contract to acquire and process 3D electromagnetic data offshore Ghana.

The $5.5-million project is scheduled to begin early in October using the BOA Galatea vessel.

"We are excited by the prospect of returning to West Africa and applying our latest technology, including full-azimuth 3D EM data acquisition and 3D anisotropic inversion, in this highly prospective region," said Roar Bekker, EMGS CEO.
