MORGAN CITY, Louisiana -- InterMoor Inc. has opened tis new Morgan City, Louisiana, facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The 24-acre facility houses administration, maintenance, operations, and fabrication . Amenities include more than 30,000 sq ft (2,787 sq m) of fabrication space; mooring storage capabilities; a 12,000-sq ft (1,115-sq m) multi-purpose building for administrative and operations employees; a 7,500-sq ft (697 sq m) wire doping area to inspect, protect and prepare wire rope for offshore jobs; and a 20,000-sq ft (1,856-sq m) blasting and painting facility. Equipment includes a CNC cutting machine, mooring equipment; and a 300-ton crane to enhance docking services.
