ABERDEEN, UK -- Tullow Oil has awarded Exceed a performance improvement contract to support offshore drilling operations on the Jubilee project, offshore Ghana.
Exceed’s coaches will help Tullow’s offshore team with the transition from drilling to completion installation. According to the company, the coaches will contribute to the HSE agenda and support drilling improvements and cost performance to maximize field productivity.
Exceed says a previous similar project in the region helped an operator save more than $65 million in 18 months by improving drilling productive time from 72% to 88% increasing the wells drilled from the planned 7 to 9 actually completed.
