MONACO – The converted FPSOCidade de Ilhabela has sailed from China to Brazil, according to contractor SBM Offshore.

Construction of the vessel’s process modules continues at the Brasa yard in Brazil. The fully outfitted vessel is expected to start operating for Petrobras during the second half of 2014.

EnCana’sDeep Panuke jackup platform offshore Nova Scotia, also supplied by SBM, has been producing sales gas since early August. Production has reached around 200 MMcf/d (5.7 MMcm/d), although this is below the full capacity of 300 MMcf/d (8.5 MMcm/d).

The management team is debottlenecking the system with a view to bringing the platform to full production capacity safely.
