Parker Haffifin to supply 28.4-mi long umbilical to LLOG

LLOG Exploration Co. has awarded Parker Hannifin’s energy products division (EPD) a contract for a 150,000-ft (45,720 -m) steel tube electro-hydraulic control umbilical, interface terminations, and installation assistance for the Green Canyon 448 discovery in the Gulf of Mexico.

STAFFORD, Texas -- LLOG Exploration Co. has awarded Parker Hannifin’s energy products division (EPD) a contract for a 150,000-ft (45,720 -m) steel tube electro-hydraulic control umbilical, interface terminations, and installation assistance for the Green Canyon 448 discovery in the Gulf of Mexico.
EPD’s manufacturing facility in Freeport, Texas, will manufacture the umbilical and execute the contract. Delivery is scheduled for June.
