SAN ANTONIO– DOF Subsea USA is highlighting the capabilities of its newbuild DPII multi-purpose construction vessel Harvey Deep-Sea at the Subsea Tieback Exhibition & Forum currently under way at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.

TheHarvey Deep-Sea features a 165t AHC Knuckle-boom crane (approx. 90t to 3,000 m), accommodation for 71 people, S92 helideck, FiFi 2, is certified to carry methanol and is the only new build Jones Act compliant construction vessel available to the market until the latter part of 2015.

The vessel, which is 92 m in length and 19.5 m in beam, provides a stable platform for DOF Subsea’s heavy work-class XLX ROV systems. In conjunction with our survey services, DOF’s project and engineering team have at their disposal, a suitable asset by which to deliver integrated projects safely and in compliance with the Jones Act.

DOF Subsea says that it has recently entered into a long-term charter agreement with Harvey Gulf International Marine for the newbuild vessel. The four-year charter agreement will commence upon delivery of the vessel from Eastern Shipyard, Florida in June 2013.
