GSP to support stimulation/subsea programs in Black Sea

Grup Servicii Petroliere has won two contracts for support services in the Black Sea.

CONSTANTA, Romania -- Grup Servicii Petroliere has won two contracts for support services in the Black Sea.

The vessels GSP King and GSP Queen will provide offshore oilfield supply, towing, standby, and well stimulation services for Petrom OMV in the Romanian sector. Both are newbuild multi-purpose anchor handling tug vessels, built in 2005 and classified by ABS.

Shark Subsea Services has contracted the GSP Perseu for diving support and ROV services, again in the Romanian sector. The program includes subsea installations, repair and construction, cable laying, cable, pipeline and route surveys; underwater surveys and structural non-destructive testing; single and multi-beam bathymetry, sonar imaging and profiling, subbottom profiling; and magnetometry, seabed coring and sampling. GSP Perseu is a tug and supply vessel, classified by Bureau Veritas.
