HELSINKI, Finland --Wärtsilä is supplying 43 pumps for a new floating storage unit (FSU) under construction for Statoil’s Heidrun field redevelopment in the Norwegian Sea.

Samsung Heavy Industries is building the FSU in South Korea.

Wärtsilä is providing 38 deep-well cargo pumps, three fire water pump skids, and two ballast pumps, with the latter manufactured at Wärtsilä Pumps in Singapore.
