Chevron’s Australian subsidiaries and Nippon Oil have signed a heads of agreement (HOA) for delivery of 0.3 million metric tons per year of LNG for 15 years from the Chevron-operated Gorgon project in Western Australia.

SAN RAMON, California -- Chevron’s Australian subsidiaries and Nippon Oil have signed a heads of agreement (HOA) for delivery of 0.3 million metric tons per year of LNG for 15 years from the Chevron-operated Gorgon project in Western Australia.
The initial Gorgon project development will include a three-train, 15 million-metric-tons-per-year LNG facility, and a domestic gas plant.
