THE HAGUE, Netherlands -- The new Dutch sector North Sea gas field K5F will be developed using two subsea production intallations with all-electrical christmas trees, according to operator Total E&P Nederland B.V.
The produced gas will be exported via a 10 km long, 8 in. diameter pipeline connecting to the existing K6N satellite platform. Production is expected to start in late 2007 and reach a rate of 2.6 MMcf/d.
Total E&P Nederland is the operator. Its partners are Energie Beheer Nederland B.V., Goal Petroleum (Netherlands) B.V., Dyas B.V., and Lundin Netherlands B.V.
