CALGARY, Canada – Talisman Energy expects the Claymore platform in the UK central North Sea to resume production by the end of March.

The facility remained shut down throughout 4Q 2013 for unexpected repairs.

Following an extended turnaround, thePiper platform in the same region is back in service. Talisman says it will work to improve operational efficiency and reliability at the facility this year.

In the Norwegian North Sea, Talisman’sVarg field gas export project started up this month after a slight delay, due to issues at the third-party host platform.
