A major E&P company operating in the Arabian Gulf faced a series of problems with the coordination and management of multiple survey projects within major construction, drilling and production area. The main operational issues related to the planning ,scheduling and route optimization as well as conflict detection, notification and intervention. Four Operational planning specialists using Marlin were deployed onto offshore vessels and client offices onshore. Marlin Services provided offshore planning, scheduling and optimization services that saved several weeks of survey time and reduced the required number of offshore vessels. The second case depicts a major E&P company operating in the North Sea faces challenges related to the coordination of multiple SIMOPS for marine control during high-activity periods: offloading / production operations; diving operations; supply / personnel vessel operations and fishing activity.

Marlin deployed in Marine Control Centre, alongside corporate Integrated Asset Planning group and several offshore vessels to provide 24/7 operational support.
