UK yard wins North Sea module order

OGN Group has won a contract from an unnamed North Sea operator to construct a new 800-metric ton (882-ton) process module.

WALLSEND, UK – OGN Group has won a contract from an unnamed North Sea operator to construct a new 800-metric ton (882-ton) process module.

The contractor will employ up to 500 personnel for the 16-month program at its Hadrian Yard on the River Tyne in northeast England.

OGN will fabricate and pre-commission the module incorporating process items including a primary separator, condensate heater, gas cooler, water degasser, hydro-cyclones, and condensate recycle pumps.

Last November, EnQuest contracted the company for finishing and commissioning works on the 249-m (817-ft) longFPSOEnQuest Producer.
