TGS, WesternGeco agree to GoM survey

ASKER, Norway –TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Co. ASA has signed an agreement with WesternGeco regarding TGS' previously announced multi-client wide azimuth 3D survey in the Mississippi Canyon and Atwater Valley areas of the Gulf of Mexico. The companies will equally share the costs and proceeds of the project.

The first phase is scheduled to cover some 650 blocks, or 15,000 sq km (5,792 sq mi). WesternGeco is scheduled to begin acquisition in February 2008.
