Challenger running next Big Wave phase

HOUSTON– The BGP Challenger seismic survey vessel is acquitting long-offset, 2D seismic data for multi-client US GoM Big Wave project, says Spectrum. The survey is in Phase IV covering the eastern Gulf.

The Challenger had covered more than 5,000 km with a 10,000 m streamer and 4,250 cu in source array.

“The crew on the Challengerhas performed exceptionally in a difficult environment,” says Spectrum EVP of Multi-Client, Charles Harmer, referring to the challenges presented by the loop currents in the Gulf.
