DMNG/Polarcus look at Black Sea seismic project

A joint operation between Polarcus Ltd. and JSC Dalmorneftegeophysica (DMNG) has received a Letter of Intent from Rosneft for a 1,030 sq km (398 sq mi) 3D seismic acquisition project in the Black Sea.

DUBAI, UAE – A joint operation between Polarcus Ltd. and JSC Dalmorneftegeophysica (DMNG) has received a Letter of Intent from Rosneft for a 1,030 sq km (398 sq mi) 3D seismic acquisition project in the Black Sea.

Polarcus says its ASIMA vessel will be used on the project, which is expected to begin in August.

The ULSTEIN SX134 design vessel will complete a shakedown cruise and mobilization to the Black Sea before commencing the survey.
