HOUSTON –Geotrace will provide what it says is one of the largest onboard seismic data processing projects for BP Exploration Libya Ltd. on the Geowave Endeavour. The seismic project is scheduled to acquire 3D data over 17,000 sq km (6,564 sq mi) of the offshore Sirt basin.
Geotrace says it will process the data on Linux clusters and will include surface-related multiple elimination, pre-stack time migration, and dense velocity analyses.
