Shallow-water Nigeria development budgets set at $5 billion

Shell Petroleum Development Co. of Nigeria and co-venturers Eni SpA, Total SA, and the government, will spend $5 billion to develop the shallow-water Forcados-Yokri project and the Southern Swamp associated gas gathering project, reports Bloomberg.

THE HAGUE, the Netherlands –Shell Petroleum Development Co. of Nigeria and co-venturers Eni SpA, Total SA, and the government, will spend $5 billion to develop the shallow-water Forcados-Yokri project and the Southern Swamp associated gas gathering project, reports Bloomberg.

The report continues to add that the projects will pump 100,000 boe/d and 85,000 boe/d, respectively, at full flow.
