Drilling set for offshore Namibia

HOUSTON –EnerGulf Resources Inc. and partners have established a location offshore Namibia in block 1711 to drill the Kunene #1 well using the drillship Deep Venture. The well is targeted for a TD of 4,400 m (14,435 ft) below sea level with an option to go to 5,500 m (18,045 ft).
The agreement was signed by Sintezneftegaz Namibia Ltd. as operator for itself, EnerGulf, PetroSA, and NAMCOR.
Esso Exploration Inc .is scheduled to release the rig after Dec. 23, 2007, and before Feb. 15, 2008.
