Jack partners reviewing well test results

US, GoM -- Partners in the Chevron-operated Jack discovery are reviewing the well's production test results. Transocean's semisubmersible Cajun Express conducted the well test.
According to one partner, "This is the first production test of a Lower Tertiary (Wilcox) reservoir in the deepwater Gulf, an important step in determining the commercial viability of this play."
The Jack discovery is located in Walker Ridge block 759 in 7,000 ft of water.
