Dragon first phase nears completion

CARACAS, Venezuela – The drillships Petrosaudi Saturn and Petrosaudi Discoverer are close to completing the seventh and eight wells in the Dragon field offshore Venezuela, according to PDVSA Socialista.

These wells will conclude the initial phase of the development, the first of a non-associated gas field in the Venezuelan sector of the (eastern) Caribbean Sea.

As part of the Delta Caribe Oriental project, PDVSA Socialista is building quayside facilities that will be able to support 25 offshore facilities and six support vessels operating in the Mariscal Sucre project area.
