LONDONLekoil says welding and installation work continues on the offshore pipeline for the Otakikpo development in a swamp location in Nigeria’s OML 11 lease.

The rig has demobilized, with four wells now ready for production, and associated onshore facilities are complete.

Commercial production is expected to start within the next few weeks. The target is 10,000 b/d by year-end, with the subsequent Phase two of Otakikpo potentially doubling output to 20,000 b/d by the end of 2017, subject to requisite approvals.
