Medco appoints four VPs

Medco Energi US has appointed four new vice presidents as a part of the company's realignment.

LAFAYETTE, Louisiana -- Medco Energi US has appointed four new vice presidents as a part of the company's realignment.

Steve Goff has been appointed VP of petroleum engineering. With more than 30 years of experience in managing operations and engineering functions, he will be responsible for production and surveillance engineering activities on the company's properties. Goff previously was president for EPiC Energy Resources.

Gary Johnson, VP of production operations, has more than 34 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and previously was offshore operations manager at ENI Petroleum. Prior to ENI, Johnson spent 29 years with CNG and Dominion. Johnson serves on the board of directors of the Delta Chapter of the American Petroleum Institute (API).

Ted Russell has been promoted to VP of drilling and capital projects from manager of engineering and operations. He has more than 30 years of domestic oil and gas experience with offshore Gulf of Mexico and Gulf Coast expertise. Russell is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the American Petroleum Institute, and the American Association of Drilling Engineers. He is also a registered professional engineer and a former chairman of the Louisiana Gulf Coast Oil Exposition.

Daniel Frugé has been appointed as VP and CFO. Previously, he served as executive VP and CFO for WHC Inc., where he was also a corporate officer and director. Fruge is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants.
