Jonathan Leather has notified the United Oil & Gas Plc board of his intention to step down as COO and executive director as of Aug. 31. While Leather will step back from day-to-day operational activity, given the status of the Jamaica farmout process, he will continue to provide support to the company on a consultancy basis. The company has commenced a search process to identify a new COO and with effect from September, Leather's non-Jamaican related responsibilities will be distributed among members of the management team in Dublin and Egypt. 

Wood Group's finance chief David Kemp has announced plans to retire but will remain in the role until a successor is appointed.
