HOUSTON —  The board of directors of Prosafe has appointed Terje Askvig CEO, effective Nov. 1. Reese McNeel will continue as interim CEO until that date. Read more. 

Greg Kulawski has joined Valeura Energy as COO. In addition, Ron Royal will retire from the board, effective Aug. 1. Plus, Lina Lee will be appointed as an independent director of Valeura, also effective Aug. 1. Read more.

Chevron Corp. Vice President (VP) and CFO Pierre Breber will retire in 2024 after 35 years of service to the company. Eimear Bonner, currently VP and CTO and president of the Chevron Technical Center, will succeed Breber as CFO, effective March 1, 2024. In addition, Balaji Krishnamurthy, currently VP of Strategy & Sustainability, will become VP of the Chevron Technical Center, with Molly Laegeler becoming the new VP of Strategy & Sustainability.
