Offshore staff

HOUSTON — bp has appointed Starlee Sykes CEO of Archaea Energy. Sykes previously served as the senior vice president (SVP) of bp’s Gulf of Mexico (GoM) and Canada business. Andy Krieger will succeed Sykes as SVP GoM and Canada. Read more.

After more than six years as Prosafe's CEO, Jesper Kragh Andresen has informed the board of directors that he plans to step down. He has been CEO since March 2017 and will continue in his current role until his successor is in place. Read more. 

The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) has announced that Iain Grainger will succeed Allen Leatt as CEO when he retires at the end of May 2023.

The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) board of directors has hired Simon Seaton for the position of CEO, effective July 20. Read more. 

Petrobras' board of directors has elected Mário Vinícius Claussen Spinelli as the company's chief governance and compliance officer, with a term until April 13, 2025, the same term as the other members of the executive board. Read more. 

North Star, a UK-based offshore infrastructure support vessel operator, has appointed James Bradford CTO as the organization scales up its onshore operations for further growth in the offshore wind sector across Europe. Read more. 

Woodside has appointed Liz Westcott executive vice president of Australian operations. Westcott most recently held the role of COO at EnergyAustralia.    

Colonna’s Shipyard Inc. has promoted three executives from the company’s leadership team to new positions: Randall Crutchfield is now executive vice president (EVP) and COO; Jordan Webb becomes EVP of shipyard operations; and Chris Hartwig has moved up to senior director of Steel America. 

CRC Evans, welding and coating service provider to the energy sector, has appointed Luis Araujo chairman to help drive its next growth phase. 

Gabriel Salinas has rejoined the Mayer Brown firm’s Houston office as a partner in the Corporate & Securities practice, where he will focus on M&A transactions and energy transition projects. He joins from Shearman & Sterling LLP, where he was part of the firm’s private equity group and co-head of the energy innovation group.
