HOUSTON — Barryroe Offshore Energy Plc, the Ireland-based energy company, has accepted notice of the resignation of CFO Simon Brett, effective Feb. 28, 2023.  Over the coming weeks, the board will finalize its succession planning for the CFO role.

Oceaneering International Inc. has selected Jennifer Simons to succeed David Lawrence as senior vice president, chief legal officer and secretary, effective upon Simons’ commencement of employment with Oceaneering, which is expected on or about Jan. 1, 2023. Simons will be responsible for Oceaneering’s global legal function. Lawrence, who joined Oceaneering in 2005, plans to retire from the company but has agreed to continue to serve in a supporting role for a transitional period.

Philippe François Mathieu has been appointed executive vice president for Exploration and Production International, effective Jan. 1, 2023.

i3 Energy Plc has appointed Ryan Heath to the board of directors as an executive director. 

The supervisory board of OMV Aktiengesellschaft has appointed OMV CFO Reinhard Florey executive board member responsible for the Energy segment on an interim basis. Effective Jan. 1, 2023, he will assume this role additionally to his CFO function. Moreover, the board appointed Berislav Gaso the new executive board member responsible for its Energy segment, effective March 1, 2023. Gaso is currently executive vice president for Exploration & Production with MOL Group. In addition, the current executive officer Exploration & Production Johann Pleininger will resign from his position in the executive board, effective Dec. 31, 2022.
