Moblize launches digital oil field software

HOUSTON -- Moblize has released Witsml-complaint Kanak3.0 software to enable real-time integrated operations centers for operators and energy service companies.

According to the company, Kanak 3.0 can sit at the field site, or office, aggregate data from multiple individual applications like SCADA, Well loggers, PLC,
RTU, and EFMs simultaneously, and then deliver it in real-time to any third-party surveillance and decision-support applications.

"Business impact of real-time integrated operations centers in place today is significant," says Amit Mehta, principal of Moblize. "Numbers don't lie – CERA analysis on implementation of real-time integrated centers reveal the following: 2-10% increase in production rate, 2-6% increase in reservoir recovery, and 15% reduction in operating costs. We already have over 100 real-time centers in the drilling market and 10 plus in production. More are planned."
