HOUSTON -- Cameron has acquired the MaxTorque line of products and services. The business will now be offered through Cameron’s Flow Control division, part of the company’s Drilling & Production Systems group.

“The acquisition of MaxTorque is an excellent complement to the products and services offered by the Flow Control division,” says Britt Schmidt, Flow Control president. “We are excited about the opportunities that the addition of MaxTorque provides to Cameron.”

MaxTorque designs, manufactures, markets, and sells high performance quarter-turn and multi-turn gear operators for motorized and manual applications, subsea operators, Navy specific operators, overrides, and engineered solutions. The company has a manufacturing plant in Limerick, Maine that will continue to develop, sell, and service these products.
