Grenland Group lands burner boom contract

Seadrill has awarded Grenland Group a contract to supply a burner boom.

PORSGRUNN, Norway -- Seadrill has awarded Grenland Group a contract to supply a burner boom. The group will deliver a swan neck PetroFlame boom for Seadrill's new drillship, West Polaris, under construction at Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea.

This is Grenland Group's second contract with Seadrill for theWest Polaris. In 2006, the company was awarded a contract for a complete topside design for the drillship.
