LONDON --Tullow's Thurne gas development in the UK southern North Sea has come on stream at a gross rate of 50 MMcf/d.
Elsewhere in this sector, the company is looking at further opportunities to extend the life of the Thames-Hewett facilities. These include a potential development well on Hewett to exploit an undepleted Rotliegendes reservoir zone, and an infill well on the Bure satellite (to Thames).
In the Caister Murdoch System region to the north, Tullow expects the Kelvin development to start up in December at 80 MMf/d. Kelvin should also serve as a hub for future development projects in the area. Other nearby prospects in which Tullow is participating - both as acreage holder and infrastructure owner - are K4, Cygnus, Harrison, and Humphrey.
