Wärtsilä has opened a service center in Murmansk, Russia.

HELSINKI, Finland -- Wärtsilä has opened a service center in Murmansk, Russia. The facility provides a full range of sales and support services for local marine and offshore customers. It offers overhauling of main and auxiliary marine engines, as well as maintenance and repairs of ancillary equipment, pipework, electrical equipment, and ship automation systems.

“Local presence and availability are of utmost importance in assuring efficient customer support,” says Christoph Vitzthum, group VP for Wärtsilä Services. “The new service center in Murmansk is a further step in our strategy to continuously develop our unique worldwide service network.”
