ST. JOHN’S, Canada -- Rolls-Royce is investing in a new marine service center in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, Canada. The 25,000-sq ft (2,322-sq m) facility will provide repair and overhaul expertise for customers throughout the East Atlantic Provinces and the Canadian Great Lakes region. The site is expected to be operational by October.
“Our investment in Newfoundland is part of a broader strategy to increase value to our customers and better meet increasing demand in the offshore, merchant, and naval markets in Canada and around the world,” says Bill Malacrida, Rolls-Royce’s marine regional director.
