ABERDEEN, UK – Logistics specialist ASCO has secured extensions to three long-term contracts in the North Sea.

Two are with Nexen Petroleum UK, in support of field operations in the central and northern sectors. The other, with Centrica Energy Upstream, has been revised to include support to Centrica’s northern North Sea drilling operations, in addition to its operations in the southern sector.

For Nexen, ASCO is providing materials management, logistics management, storage and warehousing, marine services, waste management and transport services under one contract, and marine gas oil to Nexen- chartered vessels under the other contract.

The work scope for Centrica covers provision of logistics management, transport, waste management, fuel, and port services. These will be managed from ASCO’s quayside operational bases in Great Yarmouth, Aberdeen and Peterhead, and other UK ports if required.
