LONDONGenel Energy expects processing of last year’s 3,500-sq km (1,351-sq mi) multi-azimuth broadband 3D seismic survey over the Sidi Moussa license offshore Morocco to continue through 2019.

There are no further work commitments related to the license.

Once processing and interpretation has progressed to a certain point, the company will attempt to initiate a farm-out, ahead of a decision on whether to drill a well in future on the acreage.

In November 2014, theSM-1 well on the permit was P&A’d after encountering 26° API oil in fractured and brecciated cavernous Upper Jurassic carbonates.

However, a subsequent test program over the same interval failed to produce oil at sustainable rates.
