BANGKOK, Thailand – Mermaid Maritime associate Asia Offshore Drilling (AOD) has secured a three-year contract extension for the jackupAOD I in the Middle East.
The program, which now runs through June 2022, will increase the value of the contract by around $80 million. The rig has been working for the client since 2013.
Mermaid has a 33.76% stake in AOD, the remainder held by Seadrill.
