LONDONOcean Infinity’s partner in Brazil, Cepemais, has secured a contract from Petrobras for high-resolution hydrographic mapping services.

Under the project Ocean Infinity will on Cepemais’ behalf map an area of 5,000 sq km (1,930 sq mi) and inspect 12,000 km (7,456 mi) of subsea pipelines in the Campos, Espirito Santo, and Santos basins offshore Brazil.

The company will deploy autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) from itsIsland Pride vessel, operating in water depths ranging from 50-3,000 m (164-9,842 ft). Cepemais will interpret and report on the collected data.
